I think he was meaning the clip for the speedo cable. :popcrn:

:yesnod:  This clip seems to be missing on most cars, probably because it's only held on by one weld spot and is underneath the car and completely exposed.

It's on mine and right next to it are some pinholes in my floorpan so I might have to take it of to fix the floorpan....

NOS is nice, turbo's are neat, but when it comes to Mopars, there's no need to cheat...

Sorry, again, to keep butting in.  I also notice that the driver side exhaust hanger is missing.  If you want to make it a dual exhaust car, you'll need one.  Here's what it looks like and here is where you can get one.

OP if you need to have those things added to the underside then don't worry, you won't have to ruin your paint job.

You can either grind off just enough paint where the weld is going to be and paint the added clip or bracket separate OR you use a body panel glue and stick it in place.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

The driver's exhaust hanger was bolted, not welded in place so it wouldn't be body color originally.

Beat me to that one, Dino. I was thinking the same thing.
Just grind a small area, just where the mating surfaces are. A small dab of panel bond adhesive would do the trick no problem.

The one from Hoover bolts thru the floor pan,  just be sure to add a dab of sealer around the bolt holes.   No need for welding.

As mentioned, it all depends on what your plans are?

I would have voted body color tintable bedliner.  But it wasn't an option.  I just did my charger that way, came out pretty good for a roll on job and me on a creeper underneath the car.

I blasted mine....then epoxy primed.......then two coats bed liner....then a clear adhesion promoter coat and then two coats urethane body color paint...tuff as nails now and factory color looking with sound deadening on bed liner

Thats a great idea, never heard of the tinted bedliner one before.

My car will be F5 semi metallic.  Could I use that as a tint for bed liner or other undercoating??

Brian,

That is certainly a great option especially if you plan on driving the car.  How close does it match the exterior paint?

Link to mine.  Paint matches fine, and will hold up well as a DD.  It took just a little bit over half a pint of color to do the underside.

Thats a link to Michigan state.
