After the house sells I'm buying this bike.   It's a 2006 Yamaha R1 50th Anniversary Edition.   I remember this bike on display back in 06 and fell in love with it.    :drool5:

JMO......

Most any bike sounds ok.....and the right exhaust on a bike can make the hair on the back of my neck stand up like a healthy Mopar coming up on the cam.....

4 cylinder cars, at the very best you can do is sorta ok......most sound like fecal material, and are irritating. Likely length of the exhaust has much to do with that.......

Hope your dream bike exceeds expectations!! :2thumbs:

With or without training wheels. :icon_smile_big:

The R1s are a nice ride. Looked at an R6 years ago but ended up with a VFR.

Personally, I prefer it when the bike is a V configuration... Like Honda's V4's (VFR).  :2thumbs:  But I'm biased.
