what's your option on this charger, I told them to send me more pictures of it, seats need to be replaced don't like the looks of them, asked for the fender tag to,
Here's what they write about it
1969 Dodge Charger, 318 with air. Here is what I know about the car. When I got this car in 2007, it had been parked in a garage with cement floor since 1990. The frame and trunk and floor pans are very very nice. 318 auto ac and has column shifter. Magnum 500 wheels. Wheels and tires have low miles. All the chrome and bumpers are almost perfect. This car is a great driver and fun. Just needs someone to finish it. A great start to a very cool 69.

Oh yeah good point, didn't think of that.  I just wanted to see if I could make some free time and go check it out for him.  Don't know if I'll have any time at all, but if it's close by I will surely try.

Everything except the desert areas are known for rust and these cars were known to rust while they rolled them into the showroom.  If there is one thing we know, it's rust!   :icon_smile_big:

Yup yup, a MI car with a nice paint job is suspect.
Parked in '90 still gives it plenty of time to get familiar with rust.
Not saying that's the case here but defiantly give it a good look-over.

Homerr

As long as the rust isn't too bad, nor the mechanicals, it looks like some seat covers, door panels, and flat black on the tail panel would spiff this car right up.  Oh, and take the Mopar windshield header off.   :eek2:

Dino

I just noticed the price.  Even if the body is real good, that may be a bit steep but with some negotiating....

22k???????????

I get to split the difference between $22k and $19,995.  I accept paypal.  :icon_smile_big:

IMO 17-18k is fair market value.  Anything under 17k you are getting a deal.  Anything over 19k you are paying too much.  Just my  :Twocents:

Could be.  Interesting to say the least.

Oh, did the OP get the state wrong?  Mi is not Minnesota.   :icon_smile_big:

I just noticed the front license plate, no such thing in Michigan.

I think that's a 13,000-15,000 dollar car IMO. It's a small block car plus it doesn't have floor shift. If it was at least a 383 or even a 440 car I could see 19k. But not for a 318. Just my  :Twocents:
1969 Charger 383/auto
1969 Charger R/T 440/auto (waiting to be restored)
1972 Chevelle SS clone 383 sbc
1959 Chevy Apache short bed stepside
1968 Charger (glorified parts car)
Yes, I know I have too many cars. My wife reminds me daily.

FamilyManWes

Not sure if your still interested but it seems to be listed through a dealership called, Haggle Me, out of Michigan.  Someone could have high jacked the ad for Craigslist but its on the dealers website at 21 grand.  Never dealt with the company but they are always putting Chargers up on Craigslist usually marked up by a good margin.  Hey but if your still interested the dealers name makes you think they are at least willing to have some discussion over the price to get it down to a reasonable number. Good luck
