Deep thoughts of a man....

Men have deep thoughts.... I mowed the lawn today, and after doing so I sat down and enjoyed some cold beer. The day was really quite beautiful which facilitated some deep thinking. My wife walked by and asked me what I was doing and I said, "oh nothing". The reason I didn't tell her I was thinking is because she would have said "about what"?

At that point I would have to explain that men are deep thinkers about various topics which would lead to other questions. Finally I thought about this age old question -  "is giving birth more painful than a guy getting kicked in the nuts"?  Women always maintain that giving birth is much more painful...

Well, after another beer, and some heavy deductive thinking, I have come up with the answer to that question. Getting kicked in the nuts is more painful than having a baby; and here's the reason why - -  a year or so after giving birth, a woman will often say, "It might be nice to have another child." On the other hand, you never hear a guy say, "You know, I think I would like another kick in the nuts."  I rest my case.  Time for another beer.

CHEERS!

Wisdom like that should be etched in stone for the benefit of the ages.

I think it's more like, 'getting kicked in the nuts every 5 minutes.'  (Every contraction = kick in the nuts).

The only difference is that women have a higher tolerance to pain than men do (hey, they put up with us don't they??).  And that women forget the bad things and don't dwell on them, and that men are basically really big babies that use daily escapes from reality (beer, cars, etc) to help them cope with their 'tough' lives.

Anyways... that's what the wife told me to say...

Me and the gf went to NYC a few weeks ago. After a long day, waiting for a car/taxi she exclaims, " my heart aches from being in this city." At the very same instant I exclaim "Oooo a new Dodge Challenger!"

Do some of my best thinking when beating grass.  Only things to worry about is not hit a tree and not drive the mower into the lake.   :D  Don't talk to wives about what you're thinking though, dangerous territory there.   :nana:
