Impressive options!

I'm a bit surprised that Mopar didn't put more effort in the power window switch positioning.  For the '70 they should have moved them down a tad to center then in the door panel trim.  It kinda looks like a cheap aftermarket job as is.

So is this thing worth the asking price?

I don't know about the white longitudinals on orange.  I like the blue longitudinals on white however.

Lord Warlock

its rare for me to dislike a charger, but that color combo just doesn't work for me, lots of options and it still does not work.  interior nice but still orange.  Suppose someone would enjoy a pumpkin car.
69 RT/SE Y3 cream yellow w/tan vinyl top and black r/t stripe. non matching 440/375, 3:23, Column shift auto w/buddy seat, tan interior, am/fm w/fr to back fade, Now wears 17" magnum 500 rims and Nitto tires. Fresh repaint, new interior, new wheels and tires.

69 OUR/TEA

I like the car,but the luggage rack kills it for me !!!!!!Also, the price alittle steep,IMO.

Same same for me.

I never liked a luggage rack on a car, especially on a Charger. Just doesn't look right!  What is up with the unpainted fender tag? Did they actually come unpainted?

I have a friend that has a Go-Mango Charger R/T but with black vinyl top and interior with a console and 4-speed that only has around 45k on it. It has been fully restored, including a repaint and all new interior. The interior actually is called charcoal black or something like that but it looks black to me. Beautiful Charger R/T and gets plenty of attention at shows.

This Charger just isn't as pretty to me and priced a little high. Again,  what is up with the unpainted fender tag?

myk

I'll agree about the looks of the car, certainly not my type, but it's a beautiful, original car nonetheless.

BTW Clark Griswold called; he needs us to return the luggage rack for the Griswold Family Truckster...

I don't know. His may be a R/TSE but I don' think so. I just remember him mentioning "charcoal" interior when he restored it a few years back and I am pretty sure he put it back original color.  When all is said and done, it still looked black to me!

MaximRecoil

The luggage rack had to be the most bizarre option there was on a Charger, almost as bizarre as on a Corvette.

I wonder if someone walked into the dealership and specifically ordered that car that way, or if a dealership ordered it that way to put it on the lot. Either way, the white top and side stripes look weird with the black hood graphics. Those factory side stripes look cheesy anyway, not much different than what you could do yourself with a $3 pinstriping kit from Zayre. Many used car dealers apply those cheap pinstriping kits to every car on their lot; they think it makes them look "sharp" or something. Every time I see a car with that type of "one thick, one thin" pinstriping I always check on back for a used car dealership sticker/emblem, and most of the time, I find one. If I ever bought a car from such a used car dealership (which I never would), I'd demand a large discount on account of them defacing the car with crappy pinstriping and their sticker/emblem (from which they expect free advertising, for as long as the car is on the road).

Hood pins are ridiculous too, unless they are actually needed (such as on an A12 Road Runner or Super Bee).

Whoever picked out those particular options back in 1970 was probably someone like this guy:

As far as I know, fender tags were always painted. The description is giving the impression it is an all original car however I believe the wheel center caps should be light argent for '70, not the '71 dark argent.

MaximRecoil

That fender tag has been removed and stripped. You can see pitting in it in a couple of areas, which is what's left over after removing heavy rust. It is surprising that they didn't repaint it; if not to make it look correct then at least to prevent it from rusting again.

Dodge called it "charcoal/black" but I agree with you, it looks black to me too. It was available on all Charger models.

Very similar to my Charger. My car was a dealer demo as well but with an earlier build date.
I am not big on the colour combo of the ebay car...maybe it looks better person.
