This "New" song triggered a memory of the 1974 Southern 500

and combined with the Labor Day weekend I remembered cruising down to the 1974 Southern 500 at Darlington, S.C.

Being a Beatles - Wings fan we tried to tune in what we could on the AM thumbwheel in my 68 Charger.   

Met some guys from Ohio, Glen and Satch who had a TON of beer in their truck!      Good times!!


Anyone else have good cruising musical memories in their Mopars, back in the day?
