They had like 13 gallons of that tire shine slop on the tires. Ive yet to find out how many times ill will need to scrub them with tire cleaner to get it all off.

:2thumbs:  Great looking car.  I like the odd color.   :2thumbs:  How about some photos showing some of the original details of the car for the sites reference.

So saying it is a survivor, so it has original paint etc and the vinyl top too, that would be impressive?

histoy

That is a great looking original car.  I hope that you enjoy owning it as much as you enjoyed owning the Daytona you sold to us.   At least you can feel more comfortable driving this car.

It's a nice car.   :drool5:  What is it about this one that makes it enjoyable to you?

charge69

Very nice survivor '68. the 383-4bbl. and 727 auto make a very nice Charger and the A/C is just icing on the cake.

I cannot tell you what the " G1 ... " cutoff code is but the R1 is probably R11 which is a standard AM radio.

Congrats on a nice Charger!

It is about time you bought a good looking car.  I guess it is true that we get smarter as we age......nice car!

I agree.  Brian built an amazing car.  It's wowed people wherever we've taken it.  It's fun to drive and display such a classic piece of workmanship.

That's great, I would love to see that car someday in passing for sure..  Regarding the top, I have often wondered what the best way to preserve them, I recall back when I was a kid in the 80s putting "armour all" on a top and I spear in two-three yrs it made the top worse and started to crack more.  I have resorted to damp cloth now and limited other products (my top is not original).

Makes sense it would be G11.  My Charger has G15 or "tinted windshield only" but it is not an A/C car.

Congrats Brian !!!!!! Awesome car !!!!! :drool5: :cheers:Love those survivors !!!!!Great color combo as well !!!!! :2thumbs:   :scratchchin:Drive it to Carlisle to be in the survivor tent ?????

Just 6T9 CHGR

Car only has like 35k miles on it right?

G11 is visible in the middle of the tag....Missing G code is G33 for the LH remote mirror to match the fairly rare G31 RH mirror

Good luck with her Brian... remember they are only original once so be sure to keep that engine compt nasty!

PS--- that Y3 Cream is very odd/rare in its own right...when I was doing the '69 Registry I only had 47 total registered in that color....29 XP & 13 XS cars

Out of the 4 XP 383-4bbl C6T/V1T cars I had....this one is the only one with the G31 mirror

I have personally NEVER seen a 69 Charger in this color.
