I mowed a bunch of grass the other day and sweated like a race horse. Went over to the Charger in the nice shade and jumped up on the fender to sit and cool off. I've done this for years with this car. I'm curious do any of you on here do something similar to this with your cars?
If your wheels ain't spinn'n you ain't got no traction.

I talk to my Charger when I walk past her sitting in the garage. Mostly that's while on my way to the wood shop cuz I am in the middle of renovation hell on my house.  But I'm a tad bit weird...

I do too, but I hate it when they talk back.   :brickwall:

Back in the day we would sit on the cars when we parked along the strip watching the other cruisers. Hey, I've stood on the trunk lid to paint the shed. :nana: No dents.  I don't talk to my car though. :scratchchin:

no,no and no... I hate it even when people assume they can even lean up against another person's car :flame:  too much time and money tied up in it to sit on it.

I get so much grief if i post pictures of models sitting on , in or on the wing of my car .  I have never had a model hurt it or even scuff or scratch it .  Plus its my freaking car I can do with it what i like .    I got so pissed off I started a group on face book just for pictures of Mopars with babes sitting on them    :nana: :nana: :nana: :nana:

Talk to mine all the time.

As far as sitting on them, use a tailgate instead.

There you go. Now I gotta find another t&c.

bull

Sitting on them or not depends on how much money, time and sweat you have invested in paint and body work.

stripedelete

Be carefull.  It's easy to put a butt mark on that quarter. :brickwall:

My friend who is building my car, wont even let me put my elbows on it

Road Dog

My car has never been restored and has always been driven. If something breaks I fix it or have someone fix it. I guess if I did a high dollar resto I may not treat it the same, but I like to treat it like I always have. Less to worry about and more fun.

With the GL? I don't think I have to answer in order for you guess that one..... :eek2:

Yes... I have dukes-slid acrossed a hood. A couple summers back I grinded the tailgate of my el camino (& stuck it)
2 ways, a 50-50 and a noseslide, got the footage too.

Dino

Never did it with this car but plenty with my overly bondoed 68.  I used to sit on the fender with my feet on the turned wheel.  Never left a mark and if I did it would have improved the body anyway.  Would I recommend it?  No.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

I tell people I would rather crush it than let someone else have her.....

69charger2002

well the original owner of my wingcar didn't mind sitting on it..

So i figure my little girls can't hurt anything 43 years later.. lol
