Hmm...sounds like all of the Mopars you see for sale on CL and ebay, with prices in the stratosphere for what amounts to a shell with a parts basket...

ill never understand the practice of auto manufacturers ripping out standard features and the raising the price, i'd rather buy a used 6 banger, strip it, and go from there  but then again if i wanted a challenger i'd first hunt down a 70-74

As far as I know, the viper engined cars are of late. Most are hemi. No trans or rear suspension either way.
I can see that 'hand truck' rear suspension cradle thingy getting like the stock A990cars' factory exhaust in 20years..shipping purposes only, but some nut job will just have to have the factory uber rare, always got thrown away rear cradle.

Link says it has a 6 speed.  Lots of other mods done to it, not just a "stripped job".
Engine is built, too.

It took some real dedication for mopar guys to buy that package...   considering the costs for little more than a starter kit.   I saw the pile of temporary crap and parts on the floor of barton's shop a couple years ago.
Meanwhile a ford or chebbie guy could buy a turn key car.
