I am having some trouble locating the signal (not hazard) flasher on my 69 Charger. I have been told it's 'by the ashtray, behind the dash' but I cannot locate it.

Fred

Yes, that's where it is located. You probably know but in case you don't, this is what it looks like. If you can't locate it, it could be that it's missing.

Tomorrow is promised to no one.......drive your Charger today.

Easier way to find it.  Unscrew the plastic cover under the steering column and there will be a flasher just to either side of the steering column clipped into the steel dash frame behind the lower dash pad.  One side is for turn signals, the other is for hazard signals.

I found one of them, nicely clipped where it is supposed to be. It's the hazard one...

The other clip is empty, which says to me the prev owner has placed it 'somewhere else'. I had signals up until last week, so It's a going to be a bit of a treasure hunt.
