Proof that a 235-70-15 will fit in the spare tire spot.

Not sure if I'll ever be able to get the damned thing out... :shruggy:

But... :scratchchin:

What the Hell.  :smilielol:

Next...

I'm going to attempt to make something presentable out of this relic.

I disassembled, blasted and painted the bumper jack, both jack handles, and my hold down bracket today.  :coolgleamA:

I know... :scratchchin:

Pretty boring stuff. ::)

But, it's one more thing checked off the list. ;)

Every part finished and off the list is a move forward. The planning for what's next can go on forever.

I tell myself stuff like this and sometimes it helps with momentum for my projects. They can so easily be sidelined and I tend to add to my list faster than I get stuff done.---It's what we are moved to do--- :2thumbs:

Charger-Bodie

I try to do a little bit every day. Even if its only for a couple minutes. They can't help but get done eventually.
68 Charger R/t white with black v/t and red tailstripe. 440 4 speed ,black interior
68 383 auto with a/c and power windows. Now 440 4 speed jj1 gold black interior .
My Charger is a hybrid car, it burns gas and rubber............

What paint did you use on the post? and what gray for the jack body/base?

It's Rustoleum from the local farm supply store.

Looks pretty close to me.

I'll look tonight and post exactly which gray and silver they are. ;)

It's a new one from Van's Auto:

For $75 it wasn't worth my time to try to pretty up my original one.

The filler tube itself fit great, but the vent tube is a train wreck.  :eek2:

It's chromed steel. but it's more of an industrial type chrome,

not as shiny as it looks in the pictures.

Well, It's been over a year since I've done anything with my Daytona.  :eek2:

The new garage project, and a bunch of family stuff has been eating up all of my spare time.  :brickwall:

So...

Today, I peeled the cover back and installed my trunk weather stripping.

:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Alright. Progress  This car is too good looking to stay hidden in the shop. Hope you will keep pecking away. :popcrn:
