I disassembled, blasted and painted the bumper jack, both jack handles, and my hold down bracket today.  

I know...

Pretty boring stuff.

But, it's one more thing checked off the list.

Every part finished and off the list is a move forward. The planning for what's next can go on forever.

I tell myself stuff like this and sometimes it helps with momentum for my projects. They can so easily be sidelined and I tend to add to my list faster than I get stuff done.---It's what we are moved to do---

It's Rustoleum from the local farm supply store.

Looks pretty close to me.

I'll look tonight and post exactly which gray and silver they are.

For $75 it wasn't worth my time to try to pretty up my original one.

The filler tube itself fit great, but the vent tube is a train wreck.

It's chromed steel. but it's more of an industrial type chrome,

not as shiny as it looks in the pictures.

Well, It's been over a year since I've done anything with my Daytona. 

The new garage project, and a bunch of family stuff has been eating up all of my spare time.

Today, I peeled the cover back and installed my trunk weather stripping.
