Ebay rule #1...don't buy any car you haven't seen in person unless you are willing to lose every cent you paid for it.
Ebay rule #2...don't buy any car where the owner is seemingly unwilling to post current pictures of the car...in this case...potentially in pieces with WAY more body damage than the owner anticipated when he stripped the paint.

This car is north of me 30 miles.

eBay rule# 3 which cancels out 1 and 2 is pay a "professional  car inspector " (classic car guy.com comes to mind ) to inspect car for you they know what to look for and it  saves all the headaches and waist of money
