FWIW, I have seen this Daytona in Oregon.  It is missing a lot of pieces like the fender tag, wing supports in the trunk, the #s motor that came with that car, radiator, rear window, rear window trim, most of the engine bay stuff, and a lot of the interior like the bucket seats.  Car was represented as "rust free" but there are already bubbles in paint on the quarters and rockers.  Car was painted not that long ago.  A magnet wouldn't even stick to the door, fell right to the ground.  The car would need to be stripped down and totally redone to do it right, bondo everywhere.  Even without the title issues this car needs to be totally redone to be right, not to mention all of the high dollar parts that would need to be found.  And having no tag or build sheet also really hurts the value.

I don't know either of the parties (Vernon or Steve?) involved in this sale or the story here, but the 4 responses posted so far defending this car/owner really aren't helping "Steve" or whoever is posting on his behalf. Sometimes the best response is not to say anything in you don't have anything (intelligible or intelligent) to say. So far I have not seen either.

you claim to have made a "great" deal on the cars, as well as some real estate, all of this was purchased from the same person, vernon judy. let me focus solely on the orange daytona that this thread is about. it was stated that there TWO bills of sale, not just one, that involve this daytona. it is not unheard of for people to understate the price of a car in a private sale, to save on sales taxes and such.

are you telling us that the report of two different sale documents, one with the REAL price, and a second one at a lower price for cheating the system, is not true? i think there was also the mention of a bad check being written as part of this all? if a bad check is involved, there may well be serious title issues with this car. it appears that there are TWO titles for the car already. straight answers might go a long way towards helping you sell the car, since any buyer will want to know exactly what is going on here.
