Kickdown Linkage Question

How do i set this up.The kickdown is hooked up correctly but not too sure how to set it.Its on a 1968 Charger 318 w/904 Transmission.Its has 2 differnt places for adjustment.If anyone can tell me how to set it up gimme a shout.Thanks

at wide open throttle the linkage should be all the way back or very close to it

And with the throttle closed and the engine warmed up disconnect the transmission linkage.   When you pull it forward the carb shaft should be at the back of the transmission linkage slot.

It's not a midlife crisis, it's my second adolescence.
