I don't worry bout the future as I know where I'm going when I'm gone so this place is only temperary.

I agree, but you gotta be able to take care of things while you're here.

tottally, an specially if you are with wife and kids ( which I'm not yet, but I hope will be sooner or later ). That's scary, involve to somebody in your life and FAIL

Even during good economic times, it's normal to feel that way when you have a wife and kids or anyone else for that matter that depend on you for their well being.

I don't know how you people with spouses and even children live life; like a leaking cooling system I'd never be able to stand the pressure and fail...

I believe it revolves more around the appreciation of having what you have.  You sit back at the end of the day and enjoy the companionship of your loved ones and the roof over your head.  The next day, you get up, go to work to support that.  It's when you (or the other members of the family) don't enjoy it is when you crack under pressure and Rome falls.

Better to be happy with the little you have than unhappy about what you don't have. Being unhappy won't change things for the better but being happy can lead to contentedness.

I agree, but the problem is many are confusing being content with being complacent.

If you watch the news or listen to talk radio, stop for a while.  It helps. :Twocents:

Good point but can't complacent people also be content? I mean, if you don't care enough about your situation in life (that you would want to change it or even think about it) and just live it, then aren't you in some small way content ?

That really can get depressing at times.     No news is good news.

Always, even if it's just sitting out in your yard.
