HOLY COW!! What's going on. Our beloved actors are leaving this world in a hurry! 

Darren McGavin, the husky, tough-talking actor who starred in several TV series, played a grouchy dad in the holiday classic "A Christmas Story" and had other strong roles in such films as "The Man with the Golden Arm" and "The Natural," died Saturday. He was 83.

 :rotz: Little pieces of our youth slowly fading away. At least we still have him on film to enjoy his craft. As with Don Knotts, he will be missed. R.I.P. Darren McGavin.

D@mn, they're leaving us with a startling frequency for sure.  :'(

It'll make watching, "A Christmas Story", kinda melancholy this coming Christmas.

all the old actors are dieing. i don't recognize the new actors by name.  I'm getting old too  :rotz:

one of my all time favorite characters is the father in christmas story.  when he catches the dogs eating the turkey, I almost piss myself.

Not to sound morbid, but you always hear of famous folks dying in "three's". 

With that said, I wonder who will be next from "Tinseltown" to go?!
