1968 Charger Trunk Hinges

I have been told that they changed the design of the trunk hinges mid year on 1968 Chargers.  Does anyone know the approximate time frame of when this occured either by month, VIN or order (body) number.  Thanks

i'm  no / far from an expert , but I always thought they were the same  , unless they were  different ! ,because of the skeleton inner frame  Vs the full double skin  early & late 68 deck lids 
only the 69 C500s & Daytonas had different hinges

Didn't get any pictures of the hinges yet but I have another question.  This is the first forum of any kind I have ever been on so I don't know if I am posting things the right way but here goes. Does a body order number of 054152 match up with a vin of 164835 from a production date standpoint. How about a body order number of 107369 compared to that vin. Thanks for any help on this
