So since we are putting an engine together I had to look around for torque specs for pretty much everything. So I thought I would post a list here and let you guys rip it apart if you see something that doesn't seem right. These numbers don't take into account using ARP hardware. Let me know what you think.

Was trying to make a nice list of torque specs and wanted to know if this list looked good. Obviously I need to use the ARP specs if I'm using arp hardware.

Great post :2thumbs: I too searched before when I was building my engine and this list would have been very helpful.

With the exception of the head bolts, the main bearing bolts, the rod nuts and the flywheel bolts, how many here actually use a torque wrench on anything else?
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

Me lol.... most likely because I'd rather be safe than sorry. :)

Exactly, there are exceptions but for the most part my arm is my torque wrench. I do it mostly by feel.
