park lights come on (dim) wwhen the key turns on....

As mentioned in other post  i have removed the cluster in the car and swaped it out for better one
i been sorting through some  grimlins   and notice my side marker lights and grill lights come on  when i turn the key on
  headlights work with switch as should    and the other lights get brighter (bright as normal)
when i turn headlights on    any ideals?        also my blinkers blinks extramly slow

check the park lamps for ground.. they are single wire lamps and rely on the housing for the ground connection....
