guys I need help with a cam.  I just bought a 2001 magnum 360 and a518 trans for the 69.  I am looking around for a roller cam for this car and need help finding a company that offers a cam with the option to run a manual fuel pump. the ones I have found seem to be only for an electric set up.  any ideas what company to go to and what cam to use.  gearing will be 355 and I want to use the stock lock up convertor

thanks

Troy

I am not a cam expert but I'll tell you what I do know...

That Magnum is already a roller cam (not sure if you knew that) so that should be easy - just buy a cam for a Magnum. What you need is to order a cam with the extended "snout" for the fuel pump (Comp and Crower carry these for sure) OR you can order a Hughes bolt on cam extender and eccentric (also at Summit).

You'll need to switch the front cover to an LA style in order to have a place to mount the pump (and the room to install the longer cam). When you make this change you also need to switch to LA style pulleys, belts, and accessories.

I have a 360 roller cam out of a 96 2500 if you're looking for one on the cheap.

Gotchya.  Keep us in the loop with the build.  I'm going to be building off a magnum block too so any tips will be helpful.

will do.  I gave comp cams a call they recommended a custom grind for what I described I wanted.
