I like Harleys,  just never could afford one when I have too many cars to worry about fixing.  Still don't own one, and don't anticipate buying anytime soon since i'd rather spend the cash on fixing the charger instead.

However, if anyone is interested,  my dad has owned one since 2000, and he recently put it up for sale for anyone that is interested.  Its a 2000 Road King,  black with chrome add ons.  It has a little over 15k miles, and he's asking 8300.  The bike looks and rides like new, its kept in dry storage when not on he road, stored in his hobby car garage along with his 51 merc, two Volvo 544s, and an airstream trailer, and his other bike which he plan on keeping a Kawasaki 1000 crotchrocket.  He's living in Pensacola FL,  and the bike is listed on Pensacola Craigslist, motorcycle trader, and Harley trader online.  Its only been for sale about two weeks.

For someone that would spend 7300 on an older bike, you may want to look into it,  He's meticulous about taking care of it, and usually takes it to Daytona each year for bike week, but he's getting older (over 80 now) and can't keep up with all of his car and motorcycle toys.  PM me if you need contact info direct.  Or just look up the ad on craigslist, I posted the ad for him since he really doesn't do the internet himself, much.

The Road King sold today.  snooze and lose.  Someone got a great deal, at 8k.

I ride a harley but i am a motorcyclist, not a harley guy. I wear textile riding gear, a real helmet [color white] and my ride is...quiet.  Imagine that.

I ride what i ride because it's the best - large comfortable touring motorcycle.
If honda made a better motorcycle i would be riding that one...

As to the ape hangers and those of you who think are cool...very unsafe and not smart at all...more like juvenile...but i can't make good choices for you - only myself - so be sure your personal affairs are in order if you choose to ride a motorcycle like that.

Yeah, this one sat so long the engine was froze up. Got the engine freed up a couple weeks ago and got it started last week. This one is more my speed than the 2 wheel models.

That's just too crazy. How can that even be legal.  The upside.......you won't go flying into the handlebars in an accident.

Tomorrow is promised to no one.......drive your Charger today.
