I would like to see what these elusive parts look like.

Interesting!  Is that front, rear or both?  I have some short brackets at home but I think they're for a 3rd gen.

Heck I guess I can make something like that without too much effort!

Those are the front. I can't remember what the rears look like and they are in a box I can't get too right now.

I just found some of my pictures I took of parts before I removed them.

This the rear window motor mounted in the qrt panel. A little hard to see but you can definitely make out the bracket.

Dino

Perfect!  Thankyouthankyouthankyou!   :notworthy:

They seem to be near, if not, identical.  The ones I have are similar but not quite the same.

If anyone reading this has a set of 4 for sale, please pm me.  If not, I'll start bending and cutting!

I can measure them up and cut 4 at work and send them to you. You will just have to bend them and weld on a nut.

Are you going to Mopar Nationals in Aug? I could give them to you then.

For real?  That would definitely help me out, thanks!  I'm leaving for Ca that weekend but you just let me know how much I owe you and I'll send it over!

My buddy is selling a complete 69 set change over to power windows

Thanks Stuart but I have the complete setup.  All I need besides the brackets is 2 of those big plugs on the wiring loom that go in the door or A-frame.

I will cut them and leave them flat so I can put them in a padded envelope and ship them to you. Then you just have to bend the 90s and weld on a nut or some kind if cage nut.

PM your address over to me and I will try and get them done this week.

PM sent!  And don't rush, I will be finishing the motors this week but I'm not ready to pull the door panels just yet.   :icon_smile_big:

I took it off the motor so I could measure it and take some more pics.

If anyone else needs these let me know so I can laser cut them all at once.

Dino

I just took a good look at the brackets I have.  I'd post a pic but the camera was left on and well...you know...   :eyes:

I can read the numbers clearly on two of them, one is from 71, the other 72.  The base of the bracket that bolts to the motor seems the same but where the 2nd gen arm bends and goes straight up, the 3rd gen arms go at a 45 degree angle (approx.).  I'm going to media blast them tomorrow and see if I can find more numbers.  Someone may have use for these.

Do you happen to have the measurements from your motors?  I forgot what year mine are from but they are 7 1/2" long overall. I guess that would matter for the brackets but I would assume they are all the same?

Dino

We definitely have different motors.  The housing on mine is round and does not have the flat sides likes yours.  Overall length is 7 5/8", the housing with two flanges measures at 3 3/4"

Part numbers are 2520902 and 2520903.

Worst case scenario I will have to put a spacer between the bracket and the motor housing, no biggie.

I'll put a slot in the bracket so it's adjustable to a certain amount

It drives me nuts that mopar changed so many things they shouldn't have.   :brickwall:

My motors are like these:

My rear window motors are round.....my front are different as you can see from the pic I posted above.

I cut the brackets today. I will drop them in the mail in a padded envelope. You will have to just put the 90deg bend in them. I did a sample and they bent easily by clamping in a vise and tapping with a hammer.

I made them out of 16 gauge stainless so they will out last the rest of the car  :D

You rock!   :2thumbs:

That video is way cool.   :yesnod:

Let me know what I owe you and what type of payment you prefer.

It'll be a weird when someone finds the Charger rotted away to pulp after I'm gone and wonder why the brackets are still shiny.

Doesn't everyone have a $650,000 laser in their garage to make parts for their cars!?  :icon_smile_big:
