L&P Consoles

Has anyone heard of L&P manufacturing?  Apparently they are making reproduction consoles, but I can't find information on them anywhere.  Any good/bad luck with them?  Thanks.

There was a recent thread apparently when they shipped them to china or korea or wherever they had some issues.

There first ones were great apprently, however now apprently they have come out of the mold too quick and are shrinking.

That is the word.

I have one of the L&P 4-speed consoles and I'm happy with it. I'd like to see an actual console (real, live, and in person) with these defects that people are so intent on pointing out as I haven't seen any evidence yet. It's coming up on show season so I'll keep an eye out.

I'm the one who perpetuated that rumor so I'd like to verify that it is in fact still a rumor at this point. The source that told me is very reliable and knowledgable on the topic so I don't doubt it's true but I'll let you all decide for yourselves. I did email L&P asking about the China connection but no one got back to me. Also, I don't know where all these L&P blems are coming from on Ebay but it seems they've sold more blems than anything else.
