Hey gang

A few weeks ago I had to have my Blazer towed due to a failed fuel pump. On the shoulder where I ended up the driver couldn't hook the end of the truck because of space limitations. So a front hook was made, transfer case and tranny both put in neutral.
We had to go about 2 miles or so before there was enough room for a correct hook. The driver took it slow and easy....45 mph or so to this point....something about a longer tow with a rear hook over heating the tranny fluid. The rest of rear hook tow was fine.

I'm now hearing a slight "buzzinging sound coming from the tranny hump varying with acceleration/deceleration. Beyond this the truck runs and shifting smoothly. No noise in reverse. The mechanic I use will have it Monday in an attempt to determine whats what.
Anything come to mind with you guys who known auto trannys? Thank you.
