Hilarious. Never seen this pic before.
While I wouldn't recommend anyone ever do that to a Charger, there is something about it I don't mind.
It still has a little bit of integrity due to the fact that the 'coke bottle' shape is still present, albeit a bit longer than usual.
I think it looks better than the convertible mods you sometimes see. The proper taillights would improve the overall look.

  68 charger taillites turned 90degrees so the twin round lite are stacked up an down an backup lite to the gate.some trim an blackout on gate like a charger butt. with more lip or spoiler on top of gate.shorten quarters or move rear end back too balance out the quarter. 

    its already hacked so refine an save it. would sure create a stir at shows.  just add a wing an stir the pott.lol lol

Since it already exists, why not get it up and running and make the few suggested ideas about the rear tail panel and maybe shift the rear wheels further back. It honestly couldn't get any worse and it might give someone with some creativity (like Baldwinvette77) something to do and to actually make it work

Nah I'm with mike on this one, that's why it was never finished , he pushed it out the Frankenstein lab , realised how ridiculous it looked and stopped wasting anymore time on it, phasers set to kill , but you need to shoot now

That's Jim Kramer's Chargerina. I got the grand tour of his place about 15 years ago & checked it out.

  So was it out side rusting when you saw it 15 yrs ago,or in side??

If i remember your back east,so is chargerina in the eastern states,or general where abouts??

   do you know if he ever sells his rusty projects??

    ----------------------Have seen 2 wagons, ElMoparinos made into elcamino,a 66 fury an 68-69 coronet. yes you already have a tailgate,but the balance,scale is odd with the short 4door front doors an long back quarters too me .  i took a front end damaged,rusted out floor 66 belvedere 2door post that was missing both quarter windows. cut 18 in. out of roof an moved back window up to doors ,but it was a odd too short back bed area and got parted out to save 2 other 2 dr post rigs.  i save the doors an quarters for a 67 belvy wagon sedan delivery project.then the wagon owner sent it too the wrecking yard instead of selling it too me,was a red wagon in great shape.  i always liked the delivery idea 2 door anyway ,for a tow rig an camp at the track or show an keep dry an locked .    72 coronet wagon may look good as delivery or elmorino.moparino,ranchnetta..  photoshop it first,lots easyer an faster.      oh only paid $100 for the rusty floor 66 and it was 20 yrs ago still have the doors an quarters.still have my 2 67 belvys ragtop an 2dr post,seems if ya have body parts ya dont need them till ya get rid of them, then some moron runs into ya..    customize 4drs an wagon into something fun an different? dj

It was outside just as the picture shows. it was rough back then & I'm sure that the passing of time hasn't helped.
