"68 Dodge Charger R/T
DynoMax® Ultra Flo™ Welded performance stainless steel mufflers.
From there website, I found these two muffler sizes that I am considering.  Will they both fit or is one of them too long?

17233      4 1/2 x 9 3/4    25" Overall length   20" Shell length     3"inlet 3"outlet

17235      4 1/2 x 9 3/4    29" Overall length   24" Shell length     3"inlet 3"outlet

I used the 25" overall length (2.5" in & out) ones as they are the same length as the factory Hemi muffler  :Twocents:

Thank you, I saw that post.
But, will the 29 inch long muffler fit?
It is probably a little more quiet?

Brass

You can also get the shorter, round welded ones.  I love mine.  I think these are the ones I have:

Honestly couldnt tell you but they might be a tight fit....especially with the 3" diameter piping you are looking to use...   The factory crushed the corners on their mufflers for clearance issues due to the angles that they are installed off the pipes.

Obviously not my car but it gives a cool perspective of the space that is there

Aren't the "Welded Ultra-Flo" the ones that are rated # 1 for making the most HP of all commercially available mufflers?

I've ran Flowmasters since 2002. I thought that I had the best flowing muffler until I heard about the Dynomax ones.

Just 6T9 CHGR:  I like that picture.  It appears that a 4" longer muffler may not fit.  Thank you.

Run those mufflers and they are great, a Nice manly sound.  the 3inch exhaust is great but it can be  bitch to put in.
