We picked it up yesterday in NJ. Trailered it home and hit snow for the last 30 miles. Luckily, we did not take the route that had a 50 car pile-up....

It's been sitting in a garage in NJ for 11 years. Arizona car. The guy's son used it as his daily driver when he was stationed down there, when he was shipped to Japan, he sent the car home and his father would start it once a month and drive it on his street during dry weather. He's back from Japan but had this right hand drive 800hp Toy shipped home and so this had to go...It looks like it took light hit in the drivers rear qtr and had an amateur repair. Other than that, it needs a new top and some interior work. This will clean up really nice...

Wow that does look like a nice car, how bad is the quarter? Ok so tell us more about it. Engine, etc.

Note that I wasn't expecting to see a car when I openend the thread. But it is nice.

That's a clean looking ride. Definitely a lot less work than the Barracuda.

The quarter doesn't look too bad. There is some bondo at the top of the wheel lip and at the bottom of the rear quarter. It looks like it was a half ass job, the metal that is exposed underneath is clean. There is a patch of bondo on the trunk extension on that side as well but I have a clean extension to replace it with if I choose to. The reason I figure it was hit is because the other side and the rest of the car if extremely clean. It 's a 225 but it's her car and she is cool with that.

nh_mopar_fan

Don't we all Brian....

If you saw th enews this AM, there was a 50 car pileup on RT93 yesterday. We took 95 all the way up but, at one point, I thought about getting on 93. Thankfully, we decided against it.

NHCharger

I saw that this AM also. There was a Dodge P/U with a plow and the plow was embedded in the back of a car all the way to the rear window, so much for slowing down under adverse conditions ::).
I thought all the idiots lived in Mass and NY ??? :icon_smile_cool:

Nice little car, it looks good.  :2thumbs:

I sold some 67 Cuda doors to a guy in western PA coming back from the Nats one year. He had a handful of early to mid 60's stuff, & was really into the old Valiants. He had a nice ragtop with a 273 & a 4 speed. My wife said she liked it, especially the 4 speed part.

That's the one you got the small bolt rally wheels for, right?

Is that a '66? The wife and I considered getting this little '66 Valiant four door a friend of ours had. It was clean as a whistle and was only $1,800 but the wife didn't like the thought of driving an 'old car' so we passed. I love the old school stuff and would own it exclusively if she would play along.

nh_mopar_fan

Yeah, it's one of 2507 1966 Valiant Signet ragtops made. Correct, the ralleys will be going on it.

89MOPAR

Why not keep the hubcaps ?  they make the car look original + authentic.
Theres sooooo many cars with rallyes.... ???

When does it get a HEMI? :D

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

nh_mopar_fan

Going with the ralleys because I can't stand those 13" tires.

nh_mopar_fan

Updated pics.

It's still got some minor stuff to clean up but it's a nice little driver.

Got to hand it to my wife Deb, she was involved in every aspect. The guys down at the parts store know her well. She did the dying of most of the interior parts and was on her creeper under there as much as I was.

The two tone seats look awesome.

Every time I see a two tone interior, It makes me lean more towards doing it to at least one car of my own.
