I won't be wronged, I wont be Insulted and I wont be laid a hand on. I don't do these things to others, and I require the same from them.

The plan was to use a bunch of bad ideas and execute them poorly.

DAY CLONA

The fender to nose seals need to be "circumcised" ..... ;D

tan top

someones  pride & joy & put a lot of work into it , & money   :yesnod: each to their own       , but not for me
think it was a 68 originaly , can make out  the inner door lock buttons at the back edge of the door  :scratchchin: , although that don't mean much with the type of modifications already done

I met the gentlemen at Carlisle who is a Vietnam USMC Recon Veteran and he explained his story regarding his 68 Charger R/T.  Being a fellow OIF veteran I stood and listened.  While he was in Vietnam 69-70, he carried around a picture for 16 months of the new Dodge Charger Daytona in hopes if he made it home alive that he would be able to purchase one.  Upon landing at China Beach following his tours in Vietnam, he was roped into purchasing a 70 Buick GSX 455 (very nice car too).  He never lost his interest in the Daytona.  A few years ago he heard about this Charger that was in many pieces and through some deal traded the car that he had at the time for this one.  Sure the modifications are not of the true Daytona standard, and yes the holes located on the nose are air vents that lead to the air cleaner hoses.  The entire car was assembled from what I can tell with a Stinger Fiberglass kit to include fiberglass 70 Charger fenders.  While it is not the 100% fashion as all of us would like, I respect his service and his dedication to own a Daytona.  He lives in the Harrisburg, PA area.

I respect his service also,
but he has a clone, not a Daytona...

Just because you make a car that looks like a Daytona, that does not make it a Daytona.    :Twocents:
I've never owned anything but a MoPar. Can you say that?

Does it really matter if you call it a Daytona or a clone???  Its not like he is running around claiming it to be an XX29 car.  He can call it whatever he likes in my opinion.  At least has something which in some cases happens to be more than those who comment or critic it.
