Only my low tone works also. Tried everything short of ordering a new one.

Mine work when I push the horn rim to the left but not to the right (or vise-versa). Something going on with the switch, obviously.

I just need to find time and fix these gremlins. When it's 95 degree's I'd rather be inside or at the Lake.

I wonder if it was the same for new Road Runner owners back in 68 Cooter?

Well, a buddy here that bought his '69 Bronze/Gold RR back in 1970 said 'yes', but people said it sounded more like a VW Bug than the Road Runner. [I guess that's because the voice of RR horn is nothing more than a VW Beetle horn painted purple in 1968].

I remember the first RR horn I heard... I was like "What the hell was that?"  :hah:

I heard the wolf whistle is illegal in my area.  I have an original, but have not looked into the legality of it.  Anybody know anything about this?  Of course, I have an all girl college in my area where the ladies cross the streets regularly, so I can see where this horn could get obnoxious

I still have my horns, but haven't tested them yet.

Fred

Over here (in Victoria at least) blowing your horn for social purposes such as a greeting is illegal, you can get a hefty fine. It's to used used as a warning only.
The days where you used to toot a friend walking along the footpath are long gone.

I'd never heard of that before, seems a little extreme.

I put an extra set of horns on the drivers side years ago when I was in downtown traffic. They all work and loud.
If your wheels ain't spinn'n you ain't got no traction.

I want a Train Horn installed on mine.
Have you seen the you-tube video's of "train horn pranks"
It's funny as hell.

We have train horns on our big haulers at work (as do a fair number of semi rigs), the drivers do have fun with them once in a while.

Fred

I've got a truck horn on my Bronco. It works exceptionally well.   :icon_smile_big:

Horns work great!! Love using em... :2thumbs: Many times the horn ring in the steering column is gummed up. Used a dremel tool wire wheel and now works any way you push that ring...

You don't have that law in NZ?   I don't know, if you ask me, they're just making it up as they go.

Nope, we don't. Not yet anyway.
We do have a "sustained loss of traction" law though.  :D They impound your car for that one. Also impound it for 28 days if you get busted doing 40km/h over the posted limit. Havnt outlawed radars detectors or jammers yet tho
