Horn broke, watch for finger

lol, that reminds me of a bumper sticker my grandpa used to have on the back of his old farm truck "Pass with caution, Driver chews tobacco"

Mine both work now but I did have to replace one several years ago.

Oh yes. One cannot have a GL without blowing that ridiculously loud 'Dixie' horn at least five-hundred times during an outing.

I was thinking about the public demand.  I imagine GL owners have continual requests to "blow the horn, blow the horn" or people asking if it has the horn.  I don't know that Road Runner owners today get asked that a lot?

Dino

Yes it does and it seems to sound best while passing a bunch of Sunday drivers at 8am.   :2thumbs:
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

The high tone has quit so only the low tone has it. Just doesn't have the masculine dual tone presence about it. But at least its not just the high tone working instead, being it would sound like Pinocchio doing his "I'm a real boy too"

I tried drilling out the rivets and filing the contacts on the sparco after bathing it in inox & bolting it back together but it didn't last. Stink. Probably have to hunt down some Aussie Chrysler valiant dual tones for a replacement

Ghoste

Chrysler does still sell a replacement for them that sound the same and fits but they do not look the same at all.

They look modern.  I don't know how to describe it exactly but it looks like something you would see under the hood of a current vehicle.  I'll put up a pic later, I have to do some work in that area of the car tonight.

Mine were but the just quit the other day...haven't got to troubleshooting yet.
