:o :drool5:  ............... :popcrn:

:iagree:
That looks like a really solid car!
if you read the Wing Warriors story dave linked to earlier , it sounds like it sat outside all it life untill 1985 and was a rust bucket.   THen they restored it the first time way back then .

Great pics Stu, so why is it apart again now?
Did the old resto not hold up, did it change owners, what's the story?  :popcrn:

It was probable time for a freshening from the 85-86 time frame ,  not sure what there plan is .

I know mikes not huge on making cars there original color  ?  As he has a freshly restored superbird he painted yellow  because thats what he wanted , ( BLUE CAR ORIGINALLY )   .  But maybe hes taking this one back to its original color or going with a different one  ?   Parts of the floors , dash area and cowl and posts show orange .  :shruggy:

Was it originally red?? looks red under the dash unless it's red oxide primer? Looks nice except I would kill myself trying to move around in that cramped area they are taking the car apart in!!  :icon_smile_big:
Sold my Charger unfortunately....never got it finished.

WINGIN IT

Yeah, the article mentions the car was originally red, and he wanted something different, so he painted it black.
His car, he can do what he wants, but if he wants something different, and still kick ass, I'd go with a custom paint job/ old school style ...  :Twocents:

Id rather have the black myself also even if it is a original Daytona.

That's the big fight...I poke Mike about a bunch.

Car is an original R4/C5X combo...rare interior.

And Stu I couldn't have that hood because it's the right one for his Daytona and wasn't included in the sale.  I never did get around to re-lettering the one that's on the car yet...not sure what it should say.
