Does anyone have any experience using this cam package? How do you like it? Will it work for a 440 4 bbl. as well as the 440 6 bbl.? What are the pros and cons?
I was thinking about buying one to put in my '69 440 4 bbl.

I am 99% sure they have the same lift and timing as a stock 440 HP cam. The shape of the lop was different (not sure why) but duration and lift where the same. There would be no power gain.

Are the acceleration and deceleration sides of the lobe steeper?

Are you talking about the cam sold by Bob K?  Don't have any experience with it, but have read about it on another site.  I gather that it has a little bit wider LSA than the factory cam, and a little bit more lift to compensate for stock rockers that are not actually quite 1.5 to 1.

The original low-taper 6 bbl cam is not available anywhere, so that's why Mr. Six Pack designed the Mr. Six Pack cam

Good cam - using it in 2 engines....some A12 brothers are running low 13's and some mid 12's with fairly stock engines.
