Got my Edelbrock performer Rpm intake and this emblem is mounted on the front on a square section sticking up,this was not on the pic in the Summit catalog when I ordered-im as patriotic as can be but does anybody see a problem with doing this and just springing it on the customer when he opens the box? I buy American every chance I get but I don't necessarily want it advertised everytime I raise my hood...
This is gonna be cheap and easy......

This makes me wonder if all Edelbrock products are made in the US. If they are than their name is enough. (It is cast in on the intake).
I agree the tag is miss placed. To see it when I open a package is where it should be. And I am glad to see it then.
To me that is misplaced advertising. Our cars are not billboards.

Peel it off and hope there is no hole under it.

Doesn't bother me at all . I'm glad to see anything made in America nowadays . Better than " Made In China " . There are alot of cars that have Holley labels , Wildwood on their brakes , etc , etc , so I see nothing would witha small U.S. made sticker . Better than Made in Yuppyville .

Oh I love everything made in America,it's my first choice it's just they show me one pic to sell me something and then send me something else after they have my money and figure Ill just go for it cause I'm an American-not what I ordered and I know it's not summit,it's what edelbrock sent them-no biggie just wanted to see what u guys thought I respect ur opinions.

I've got one on the garage ceiling above my car, so it doesn't feel homesick  :rotz:
