In a word, No.....They are simply mistaken. My 505 C.I. engine is a just as annoyingly loud as my ragged ass 440.

Glasspacks can make your junk sound Loud as hell. Open exhaust can too, but this is just loud, NOT loud in a good way.

Hey I don't want a ricer and I don't like them, I was only responding to the statement that the ricers were being modified but still losing to V8's when the truth was that there are a bunch of those 4 bangers that bone stock are taking advantage of the power to weight and kicking ass.
