Hi guys

On my carbs I have my float adjustments cranked all the way to the bottom and I still have a high fuel level. The pressure is fine so its not that. I was wondering if there is a adjustment on the float its self?

I would imagine your needle is defective.

I have the same issue - but I also installed brand new titanium needles and seats. Thinking of sticking the old worn out crap back in there since it ran fine before I "upgraded".

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

Scott, how much fuel pressure do you have at idle ?

Are you using a liquid filled pressure guage ? If so, don't trust it....they never read correct, especially when they are near a heat source.  :P

If you have a true 6psi the floats should be easlily adjusted.  :yesnod:

I have a Vaccum and pressure gauge combo, not liquid filled.

Well....at 6psi you're good to go so it's not a fuel pressure issue. Are you adjusting the floats with the engine running ?

Ya I got my Quick fuel parts in and I also picked up the clear sight gauges (garbage BTW) I have both the front and rear at the 1/2 way mark and the center there too but they are bottomed out, I was wondering if there is a tab on the float that could be adjusted to allow more flexability in the needles?

Oh yeah I also registered for Moparfest the other day, you going?

A common problem is ethanol attacks the rubber tip on the needle.
