There have been so many lately that I've started to lose track of them.  Was there a thread going where we were trying to establish some information on the 500 that Cotton Owens had and was used for the Dyatona prototype?  And if so, was there an unanswered question about the car?

I'm losing it man.  That was only a month ago and I forgot all about it.  It had almost the same subject title too.
Anyway, I found an article in MCG from a couple of years ago when Cotton was reunited with that car.  I knew there was a thread about it(forgot it was mine) and I couldn't recallif there were some unanswered questions or not but I think we about exhausted it.

Well there are a few unanswered questions on the car. From me, is which car is it? I'm assuming it has to have a very early VIN. I"m guessing between 110610 and 110615. Just for the reason that all those cars seemed to be similarly optioned and Cottons car had the power windows, cloth insert seats and such lke the other ones.

No vin numbers in the MCG article but it does mention the car was restored by Le Hodge at Hodges Restorations in Inman, South Carolina and the owner at the time of the article was Lewis Sommerville of Blountville, Tennessee.

I looked up the article in my magazine too just to see if maybe they had a photo showing enough of the engine compartment that I could scan it and maybe read the fender tag but no luck there either. I'm guessing it is 612 but that is just a big guess.
