i use "sevin". it is the best here. we spread it right before a rain and fleas, ticks, grubs all gone. i love the stuff. :2thumbs: i get the large bag. the small bags cost almost as much as the large bag that will do the whole back yard.

Maybe call an exterminator and see.  We had a problem with carpenter ants (termite wanna be's ) and called.  They sold us a bottle of stuff, we mixed it in two gallons of water and put it on with a pump sprayer.  I thought they'd want to come and apply it but they would do it either way.  The bottle was maybe 4 ounces for $21, but it also took care of ants, fleas, spiders, slugs, etc.- pretty much anything crawling around.

We used a  non toxic method in the basement to get rid of fleas.  An aluminum pie pan about 3/4 full of soapy water, set it on the ground and put a desk lamp shining into it.  The lamp draws the fleas, they jump into teh water and drown.  We couldn't spray when we had the problem (small kids in the house), a friend recommended it and it did work.  It took probably ten days or two weeks but you could see we were getting fewer and fewer fleas, eventually when there none for a couple days we were clear..

Bingo. Works great.

We have never had a flea infestation. We have always had cats and dogs and apart from when the pets are first brought home and checked for fleas (yes, there are always fleas especially on kittens) and then immediately de-flea'd, that, I'm very pleased to say, is the only time we have ever encountered any.

Tomorrow is promised to no one.......drive your Charger today.

I use spectracide ( I thinks that's how you spell it) anyway I had the same problem a couple years back and a friend told me bout this stuff. I get it at home depot and its in a black bag and its little tiny balls or granules and you just spread it around and kinda wet it in with the water hose and it works great. I just spray over my back yard with the water hose just enough to wet it in and it work from there. :2thumbs:
