More of something ugly is not an improvement. Like when an ugly person gains 200 lbs.

I wonder if it has lambo-style doors?
Sixty-eights look great and the '69 is fine.

Some people have way too much time on their hands.

I don't get it: Someone stretches a "turd," as some of you put it, and they are accused of wasting time; yet if someone took a "real Charger," as many of you describe your car, and stretched the thing it would likely be labeled as sacrilege.

Yeah well i guess the bottom line is most people wouldn't "appreciate" it either..  :-\

Pointless argument to defend a turd.  If they made a Charger in the 2nd gen STYLE, and the BODIES WERE PLEANTIFUL I think that'd be the ONLY Limo I'd wanna pick-up the lil' lady in...  What a waste of your breath...

It's a BIG CRAP SANDWICH and we're all gonna have to take a bite.

Trevor? Is that you? ::)

Yep. I'm Trevor Creed, the person most everyone has accused of not knowing anything - the same person who gave the okay to Challenger.

But seriously, I'm not trying to make any personal attacks here. There just comes a point where things need to be let go. The new Charger has been out for a while now. It's okay to not like it, but is it necessary to seek new ways to bash it?

Yes, by all means, the bashing must go on!
If we stop bashing it then the folks at Dodge may not get the point.

By the Charger fanatics getting in an uproar about the '06 "Charger" - collectively, the voices may be heard through the thick skulls at Chrysler, and maybe...just maybe, they will release the Challenger, untouched/unchanged from the concept car that has had every cheering.

I would not put it past Dodge, to release a new small Neon SXT on a new platform, and label it "Challenger". And I also wouldn't put it past many of the Dodge faithfuls, to run out and buy a few, to zip around in the new "Challenger".

However, I still believe in the common sense and free market economy - if Dodge HEARS the bashing, and SEES the sales #'s of the new Mustang - something great will prevail.

Never, count Mother Mopar out, she may get off track, but she rebounds in a good way.

What ever happened to that picture of the 71 Charger limo from way back when.  Im pretty sure it was a photoshopped pic, it was a blue R/T if I remember right.

Hey you never know, someone could actually have made one.  Kind of like that Challenger wagon that was for sale forever (and probably still is)

Mother Mopar won't be truly redeemed until they bring back the Charger nameplate on a car that was designed as a Charger (not as the "Enforcer" and then re-badged at the last second).  The Challenger would be great, and I REALLY hope they build it right.  But what they really need to do is bring back the Charger nameplate on a Charger.  Until they do that, they'll never be completely redeemed.
Matt. 14:8 (KJV) "And she, being before instructed of her mother, said, 'give me here John Baptist's head in a Charger.'"
