I have a set of magnun wheels that were suppose to be from a 70 challenger.  Spokes are that brushed chrome look and trim rings are polished.  Here's the numbers from the back:  there is a small M4 above a 9  then some space then 11 them some more space and a 22  Then the mopar pentastar.  Any ideas??

Sure. Those are dated 11-22-69.
The 4 is a shift number, I believe. The "9" is the model year (69), and the 11-22 is the month/day.
Are they all marked like that? If so, you've got a complete date coded set. Typically, wheels that the car was born with should have a matching set of date codes that correspond to the build date. Usually it is up to 4-6 weeks prior, sometimes a little less.

Bill your info. is correct except I wouldn't say the "9" is not Model year but when they were made.
11/22/69 so they would be for Model Year 70.

Absolutely correct, Ron.
That is what I implied, guess I should have been more exact in my wording.  :yesnod:
Those wheels would be correct for a '70 built car, I'd say sometime during December would be ideal.
