Edison is fairly close to me.  Surprised I have never seen that car around though.  Wonder if the guy never took it out of the barn? :shruggy:

Great car, although for a premium product and price like that, some planning into the photo shoot would go a long way.

Only have info on a total of 4 cars in that color. Very nice looking indeed. This is one I had a handful of pictures of but no contact name.

Lots of things to pick apart under the hood. A quick glance shows the polished intake manifold, carb springs, hole in the firewall next to the ballast resistor, holes in upper radiator crossbar (replacement?), alternator, wrong negative cable, coil, water pump, cheap battery, painted black battery tray, aftermarket radiator, ballast resistor, voltage regulator, painted heater hose bracket & breather cap, funky wiring coming off the + battery cable. BTW, shouldn't that car have headrests?

Yes, it's a rare car, but for that kind of money, one shouldn't be able to easily pick it apart. When I see things like that under the hood, questions arise about what isn't seen, otherwise, the body and interior do look very nice.      :Twocents:

Headrest were not mandated until January 1, 1969. All 500's were built before the end of December 1968. Car has some flaws yes, but how many have zero? I have seen very few that are nearly perfect. All have flaws. Have not seen an OE Gold level 500 yet.

did someone mention the F-wheels yet? :smilielol:

I have seen a couple of pictures (maybe promotional) of the C500 with 68 side marker lights. How many of these made it to the public?

One 68 for sure it is still around.
