Need some help. My 69 RT 440 is overheating badly. I am going to replace the radiator, hoses, water pump, and thermostat, and I also believe the fan is not stock and the shroud is missing (I am sure that is some of my problem right there). My 440 is, I believe a 1970 . I have looked at parts for the car and they say there are 2 different radiators. What I need to know is what radiator do I need? Do any of you have the parts numbers for these items and a catalog number from a aftermarket company (e.g., Classic Industries or Year One). This is an A/C car, but w/o the compressor (which I will add later).

Thank to all that respond, y'all have been very helpful in the past. :2thumbs:

Here is a good link on the radiators, my 69 RT SE 440 with ac and 3.23 gears has the 055 radiator as well as a friend of mines 69 RT SE almost built the same as mine also has the 055 radiator, mine was originally a two core but was recored with a 4 core. I remember that Red Kilbys 69 RT SE sunroof charger had the 054 radiator.

What are the differences??
Quite a few of you have the 055 radiator on a '1969 .
I have a 1968 Charger R/T 440 with auto and A/C.  The 26" radiator is a 2898 047.
Does one cool better than the other?
