Interesting.  It sounds like an RT stripper which makes you wonder why they didn't go for the Super Bee and spend the extra money on a Six Pack possibly.

Either they didn't like the Bee emblems or they wanted a more upscale car than a Bee, even though this car has a majority of the features that are standard for a Bee.


Or, this could be just a generic car that Dodge produced, and didn't care what options were on it.

Standard gauges, no power steering, no power brakes, buddy seat, stripe delete, no ram air.  Maybe they wanted the 440-4 and getting rid of things was the only way?

I'm starting to lean to just a generic lot filler.  You don't want to fill your lot up with high optioned, high dollar cars, or otherwise, you'll exclude a large part of your potential market.  This car fits right above a Bee and just below a fully loaded R/T, but for someone that didn't want a Charger.

You know, I agree its probably a sales bank car but to me it isn't quite as nice as a Bee.  I wonder where it priced out at?

I wonder what it looks like now? That photo is dated 2010. He's not that far from me but for the price he's asking and the lack of options on that car, except for the 440 it wouldn't be a better car than what I already have. Burnt orange interior parts are still hard to find but not impossible. AMD STILL doesn't make quarter panels for 70 Coronets!!! I've been waiting for 5 years to buy a quarter panel for my Bee. The only thing available are the skins and AMD doesn't even make those.
