Hi Guys, I am stripping the inside of my 72 charger and can't seem to get the back part of back seat un-hooked hmmmmm I can see the latches on the bottom to corners, but what comes off first, thx for any help.

VegasCharger

The bottom seat cushion is secured by two hooks mounted on the floor boards. They have a half circle motion for latching. To remove you have to push down on the seat at the same time moving it rearward. Then it should release from the hook. Sometimes you can do this one side at a time.

The upright cushion is secured by two tabs at each lower corner and two hooks on the top edge. The tabs go thru a longated loop then folded over to secure. To remoce straighten each tab first with a pair of channel locks so that the loops will slide past the tabs. Pull outward from the bottom edge of the cushion to clear the tabs. Then bump the bottom edge of the cushion upwards to release it off the two hooks.

Hope that helps.
