This is in a 57 Chevy being built as a Gasser.  It's a 327, with fuely heads, 4 speed, 410 gears.  Just gota love the crossram 12 pac.

I don't know.  If they were all just tiny two barrels it might work well.  I'm not sure the wow factor is worth the tuning headaches though.  It is one cool looking piece though.
As for the shoebox, I'll always have a soft spot for the 55's.  Probably because of American Grafitti and Two Lane Blacktop.  And there is a 70 Charger in Two Lane so that's a good thing.  But when it comes to the 57's being the "icon" 50's car, it leaves me cold.  There are so many others from that decade that I'd rather have and find more attractive.  The 57 Custom Royal Lancer with a D-500 package comes to mind, or a 55 D-501 or a 56 Crown Vic or....
