I'm picking it up tomorrow.   1941 Lincoln zephyr, suicide doors, 3 speed with overdrive and a V12.    It's a for sale to anyone out there.

I know someone who might have some interest in it Skip.  I'll send him a message tonight and find out.

Of all the odd stuff I have laying around is this owners manual for a 1940 Lincoln Zephur V-12.
I think It's size (6"x8") allowed for it to always end up on the top of magazine piles.
Good condition and 60 pages. I've had it for 40 yrs and could never toss it out.
If you get the car and are interested Pm me

Thanks.   This car has been sitting for 45 years.   Needs complete restoration or make a sweet rat rod.   That v12 is just cool looking.   It was running and driving fine when parked (in 1968)
I'm going to try and get it running within a few days.   The motor turns freely so I'm betting it's gonna run.

:icon_smile_big:   The speedo glass isn't boken, it's just the gasket falling in.

You know Skip, your mrs needs a different car to drive.  Maybe this would fit her just fine. ;D

All kidding aside, it's a shame these engines didn't make as much horsepower as a slant 6.  As cool as these engines are, they're not much more than boat anchors.

Fred

That is way cool!  :2thumbs:
The rego plate has held up well.

Tomorrow is promised to no one.......drive your Charger today.

It's all about the look and awe factor.

You got that right!  :2thumbs:

:iagree:

I freaking love suicide doors.  Too bad I don't have any room and too many projects as it is.

Very cool! never seen anything like that before.  :2thumbs:

Found extra distributor caps, wires and rails in the trunk.  This motor has two distributors so timing must be fun.

They aren't exactly invaluable when restored to stock either.
