I may have the heads ported, but I'd like some feedback from some members here.
I have a 440/493, Edelbrock aluminum 84 cc heads, 10.73 compression.
Any ideas?

It depends on who's porting them and what level of porting you are having done.  :yesnod:

Find someone who is well versed in Edelbrock castings and knows them well. Personally, I prefer hand porting vs the CNC because often there is core shift in the casting and a CNC job can leave them thin in certain spots are they may develop leaks.  :P

Dwayne @ Porter Racing Heads gets all my portwork and he knows all there is to know about an RPM head casting.  :2thumbs:

I won't install any head on an engine unless Dwayne goes through it ahead of time and gives it the green light.  ;)
