Does anyone know if there is a kit available for this set up?   :shruggy:

For some reason I thought that someone (company) was making & selling the entire linkage assembly that included everything you would need to change over from a 2V carb to a 4V carb. Maybe it came to me in a dream, but I thought I saw it on a website once.

My plan is to go to a 4V intake & carb on the 318 in my Satellite like I did to my Scamp 20+ years ago. Back then I was able to scavenge what I needed out of a junkyard, but those days are long gone.

Thanks.

A&A has the complete linkage kit but you won't like the price.

Generally speaking, if you already have the 2-barrel linkage and are just changing to a 4-barrel, the only thing you need to do is extend the length of the top rod.....Edelbrock sells some extensions for the threaded rods.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

Thanks, I knew I saw it but you're right, I don't like that price. I paid a lot less for the new carb.   :smilielol:

Yes, the entire 2V set up is in place now & working, kick-down & all. I recall adjusting the old kick-down that I left in place on the other car 20+ years ago, but I do remember needing other parts to get things to work & line up. That's why I scavenged in the junkyard.

Now I'm wondering what the differences were & will have to compare cars.   :shruggy:

Just bumping this to let others know that the throttle cable bracket for a small block, 4V set up, is available by itself & only $33 from Mancini Racing. I picked one up at Carlisle last weekend.   :2thumbs:

Sure beats buying the crusty used ones on ebay for $35 or more.

The carb rod for a 4bbl also needs to be bent over to the drivers side for a 4-barrel carb as well as being extended as was mentioned
