speedometer ticking

The speedometer on my 69 is driving me nuts.  It is somewhat accurate, bounces around a little, but nothing crazy.  The annoying part is it is constantly ticking as I drive.  Anybody experience this?

Yep, same. The remedy is to take it out and lubricate the cable inside the shaft and no, I haven't done it yet but it is on the "to do" list. Just hang it up in your workshop and spray it with inox or wd40 or something , that's my plan anyway
