Yikes. Here in ohio if you want to retro-fit a 90's jeep you will get a eye-full of rustchips in the eye for your effort.

I don't think I'd know what its like to crawl out from under an old car that was sold new around here and not have crusty chunks in my hair.

They are either adding or replacing the trailer hitch - not moving the tank or otherwise fixing the location. Instead of caving in the back of the car and dumping gasoline it will now just transfer the force of impact to the driver.

Some years back this was done on another vehicle. I am not sure, but think it was on Bronco's. not sure now..  :shruggy:
