Pretty cool. My buddy owns a local speed shop. My 70 Charger was chosen to be the star car for the commercial. A couple of my buddies are standing in front of it in one scene & then there is a quick shot of it in front of the building in another scene. Then there are me & my buddies shopping around inside the speed shop in another scene. The commercial debuts this weekend on ESPN during the NASCAR M.I.S. Nationwide & Cup races & will play 20 times on Saturday & 20 times on Sunday. I can not get a copy of the commercial to post though.

Very cool :coolgleamA:  I'll be looking for it if I get a chance to watch the race this weekend. :popcrn: :popcrn: :popcrn:

Ghoste

I wouldn't normally watch it but I will try to now.  This is better than waiting for the ads during the Super Bowl.

If it's not a Nationally run Commercial/Advert. on ESPN bought & paid for, will be very costly... it will be just run regionally, local affiliate feeds, where they normally have a local TV ID spot to fill, it usually has nothing to do with ESPN or their programming, it's all at the local level... I had the same thing done at my old, Golf Pro Shop when I was in Rancho Murieta Ca., many people thought I had paid mega bucks for a National TV Commercial spot, it ran on all the sports channels locally, not any nationally thou...

I would DVR the program and make a DVD copy of the spot for myself. Food for thought and congrats! Very cool.
FLY NAVY/Marine Corps or take the bus!

Cooter

Congrats! The more air-time these cars get, the better. Like Ghoste, I don't normally watch NASCAR, but will this once I guess.

Awesome.  Right across the border and always good to know the location of another speed shop.

6pkrtse

If you are in Canada Dave at Victory has a truck that comes in once a week I believe to pick up parts for all kinds of people & then takes back across the border for all of them. Don't know how to get you hooked up on that deal but I can ask him if needed.

I will definitely keep it in mind.  We have a couple of trucks crossing frequently too so it isn't usually a problem for me but you never can tell.

Wait a minute...there's a speed shop 40 minutes from my house?  I should really use this googly thing more often...

Congrats on the commercial.   :2thumbs:
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

Ghoste

They've all been disappearing in the metro Detroit area.  They used to be in every neighborhood.
